What Is A Hangi

What is a Hangi?
A hangi is a feast cooked in an earth oven for several hours. People have used this method for over hundreds of years. The food used in a hangi is locally produced meat and vegetables such as pork, chicken, lamb, beef, pumpkin, kumara, potato, fish and eels.
The food is prepared, peeled, cut and wrapped in either flax leaves or cabbage. It is then placed in baskets before being lowered into a hangi pit.
I am sharing my Hangi research that learned about from this week.
I am sharing this because I want to share my learning with everyone.

  1. Hi Willie
Great explanation so far of what a hangi basically is. Have you had a hangi before? Did you like it?
For the next part you need to research and explain how to make a hangi.
Make sure you leave a space after your writing so your blog description doesn't get mixed up with what you are sharing.
