Cricket With Coach Neish

 On Friday the 20th my class room 8 did cricket with Coach Neish. We were playing tag with the cricket balls. There were three taggers and everyone else had to run from the taggers, if we got tagged we had to spread our arms out and the other people that are not tagged have to hi five your hand. Our next activity was we were suppose to throw the ball 

over to the other side of the cones 

and if the person catches the ball 

the person who threw the ball had 

to go to there team. 

Kiwi Can

For Kiwican we learnt about respect for our environment. Our energizer was we had to find out we should recycle, reduce or reuse. It was fun. Our activity we did we were suppose to figure out which rubbish goes into which bin. If we didn't know which bin to put it in we just put it in the unknown bin.

Manaiakalani Film Festival

On Tuesday November the 10th our school went to Sylvia Park. It was a fun ride. The seniors went on 1 bus and the juniors went on the other bus. We had a song battle to see which class were the best singers. 

Tug Of War

This week all of the juniors and seniors played tug of war. We played with a long rope that our care taker of the school gave to us. Some St. Kents came to our school and played with us. It was not that fair because there were only 7 St. Kents on one side and the rest of us on the other side we won all the time. 

 

Principal's Award

Today the year 8 and year 7 students did an assembly. They handed out certificates to the people that did a good job during the week. I got a certificate for being the best chromebook monitor in the world.

Kiwi Can Term 4 Week 5

Today my class room 8 and room 4 did kiwi can together with our kiwi can instructors. Our theme was respect and our topic was respect for our community. We played our activity of how we had to help the blindfolded person to the other side without touching any of the obstacles

Room 8 Playing Cricket

Today room 8 got to play cricket. We played with Coach Sas. The fist game we were doing some relays with the cricket ball, we had to run around the sticky wicket and then pass the pall to our team. The first to finish would win.

The second game we had to catch the cricket ball with two hands, when we caught it we had throw it back and then the next person had to catch it. If we didn't catch the ball we had to sit out. 

Art

Today me and my class were doing art. We drew  Mt. Wellington, drew patterns  beside Mt. Wellington and drew the ocean. It was a lot of fun making it.

Toitoi Reading

 Today me and my class did Toitoi reading with people from Toitoi. It was on a google hangouts and there were 4 groups, 1 group had to go with 1 Toitoi person.

It was a lot of fun and there were a lot of stories from kids's from different school's.I like the story "Wayno The Wrestler". We had to be quiet or else we would get in trouble.

Duffy Reader Of The Week

 

Today at our school assembly I was chosen as a caught being good student and got a Duffy Book  because I was reading while everyone else was playing outside.

Te Reo Maori

Today me and my class made emojis and we wrote Maori words on 1 side and the English words on the opposite side.

Kahoot Te Reo Maori Quiz

Today my class did a Kahoot quiz with a teacher. I came first and my friends came last. It was fun and we got to learn more about Te Reo Maori.

Our Trip To Star Dome

It was my classes first time going to Star Dome and we had fun. Some of the parents came to help us on our trip. There was a park that we could play on and we had an amazing time that we laughed.

While we were waiting to go inside we went for a long walk up a mountain. It was very muddy and some of us got our pants dirty. It was a wonderful view

We finally got inside and there was this man named John who taught us about the solar system and day and night. We got to watch a short movie about space. It was called Solar System Odyssey.

Rap Story

Once upon a time there was a little boy.

He lived in a big city and his name was Mc Coy.

He likes to eat ice-cream and read comic books.

He also has a job which is being a cook.

Ten years later he becomes a CEO.

Then he goes to stay at his uncle's new home.

When he goes to his work he focuses a lot.

He's told to go get a special pot.

He finds the pot then brings it back, But when he brings it he gets a smack.

He goes back home so he can sleep and he doesn’t peek.

Lock Down

As we know it we are on lock down because of Covid- 19. Here are some[ rules to stay safe from Covid- 19.

Rule 1. Do not touch other people with your hands.  

Rule 2. Cover your mouth when you cough.

Rule 3. Use a tissue to blow your nose with after you have used the tissue then throw it in a bin.

Rule 4. Use soap to wash your hands before you eat, after you play, when you go home and in the bathroom.

I’m Samoan I have 2 brothers, 2 sisters and I live with my mom and my dad. I like eating fish and chips, writing narratives, reading comics, playing soccer, and sleeping.
